Meritage Homes is not a good builder. The home I purchased lack’s quality and many items were done differently than the model with no notice to us. Our tile floors are damaged with spots and stains all over from the sealing. Won’t come clean. We closed in August and no walk through items have been resolved. The rep. calls, claims she setting up an appointment for 3 weeks away, and then no one arrives on the appointed day to fix anything. They do this constantly to all our neighbors too. We have doors that won’t shut, damaged tile floors, chips in the shower floor, dry wall holes, cracked backsplash tiles and torn weatherstripping.

Meritage Homes in Province, Maricopa AZ is THE worst builder around. There is a complete lack of quality, lack of customer service and zero follow through. They get your cash and run. Many of us are fighting to get our walk through items addressed. I’ve lived here 6 months and NOTHING has been fixed. They don’t return calls or emails. And when we closed, the house was filthy - they didn’t even clean it. They used 2 different paints on our wall (flat & semigloss - photo attached). They added an ugly pony wall to our shower which isn’t in the model and has no purpose (photo attached). If you’re considering buying from Meritage Homes in Province of Maricopa - go speak with some homebuyers. Buy yourself something with quality instead. I wish I had.

Bought a new construction home. The model looked great, pricing and process were simple. Just can't wait to have it finished and moved into.

All looks and no substance. The workmanship is shoddy and so many issues with our new home it would be easier to buy a fixer upper
