We had a great experience during our stay. The staff was very attentive to your needs.
Loved the pickleball groups every day. They make sure that you feel accepted.
Overall a great time, and we are looking forward to repeating it at some point.

The hot tub and sauna were both down again .two times in a row the pool guy dumps way to much chemicals In and they close it down. And just look at it for days in stead of adding more water. So this time I called to make sure it was open. They said everything was working fine and didn't even check. I drove over two hundred miles to get there. They were both closed again. I asked if it would be opened they said a couple of hours. 5 hours later still closed .asked again it will be open by evening still closed. They said it will be open in the morning still closed they said for sure in a couple of hours still closed. They said by evening still closed. They said I the morning still closed. The guy blindly dumps way to much chemicals In. And just stares at it why he can't just add more water is beyond me .third time in a row. No sense in calling they have zero communication. They will take your money and won't even tell you. Years ago it was a very nice place. It just a bunch of old people complaining. Miss the old place. Not much there but old men. They need new management. What a waste of time and money.

Fabulous place to visit! Everyone was so friendly from the office, to the pool, to the neighbors, to the cafe. Clean accommodations that had everything we might need, fun activities day and night (Sat. night dance was fun with a great DJ), refreshing pools to relax in, and wonderfully prepared meals in the cafe where everyone felt like a nice neighbor. Highly recommend the Friday fish fry, biscuits and gravy or an omlette for breakfast, and a burger for lunch. Cafe staff were so sweet! Residents of the ranch were so kind and welcoming too! Can't wait to return!

I call this my "Happy Place". Many friendly people are there as well as an amazing staff. It's no putting on the Ritz stuffy place . Instead, it's down to earth, friendly atmosphere with great pools, jacuzzi, game room, restaurant, dancing, karaoke and even a short hike. I did not use, but saw tennis, volleyball and believe a basketball court as well if my memory is working. I stayed in a very nice little park model and accommodations were reasonably priced and clean. If you have never been through a similar experience. I was there for my first-time experience. The staff and guests were very kind, explaining the process of getting use to the new experience and it became my new normal. They were very helpful in getting my inhibitions calmed quickly. In 2020, I married the woman of my life. I had brought her here and they helped her through the same inhibitions. I not only recommend this place but return here at least 3 or 4 times every year with my bride. We had our honeymoon here and it was her idea. Friday night karaoke and Saturday night dancing. They have many things throughout the week as well. I highly recommend getting out of your comfort zone here as it will become your new comfort zone.

My wife and I aren’t new to the clothing optional lifestyle and even had a nude wedding, but this was our first visit to Shangrila Ranch. We spent nine days here and loved it. We definitely plan to return, possibly for month’s.

Friendly people, nice pools, decent basic room, and access to great hiking trails, at a reasonable price.

I hiked up Daisy Mountain a few times, following old dozer roads west to the base of the canyons, and then a climbers’ trail marked by small, white pieces of quartz. This trail is steep, with loose gravel and stones, and can be a bit difficult to follow in spots. Be sure to use sunscreen and take lots of water. Sturdy shoes are essential, and a hiking stick is very helpful. The views from the top are great! The hike is about 1.6 mile one way, an hour up, and 45 minutes down. Watch out for chunks of cholla cactus on the trails, broken off and thoughtlessly left (by javalina, I suppose) for the unwary to step on.

I've been coming here since Feb 2024 and I enjoy every visit. There is plenty of outdoor space and even a hiking trail. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place.

Pretty cool nudist resort. The drive to arrive is beautiful and the staff at the front desk are super nice and always fun to talk to. Unfortunately the last couple years they stopped doing the nude car show which I always loved going to, there were always cool classic cars. They have two pools, ones heated and has volley ball games all the time. The other is large and a little cooler most of the time. Its definitely a place recommended to go for a day pass to check it out.
