HORRIBLE shipping company. Hope I never have to deal with this awful company ever again, especially Kim that answers the phone. Had two large shipments for cabinets, both of which were a terrible experience.
First delivery on 12/13/2024: I received a call at 9am that delivery would be around 1-2PM that day. I let them know that I had an appointment at that time, but to please call at least 30 min prior to arriving so I had time to get there and review and sign for the shipment. They did not call to tell me they were 30 minutes out, and also did not call to let me know they arrived and delivered the pallets. The only way I knew they were there was by checking my trail cameras at the lot to see the 18-wheeler arriving. I called R&L to inform them that the driver would need to wait for me to get there since they did not call me as requested, to which Kim from R&L replied "we do not wait". I told them they would wait unless the driver planned to forge my signature. I fully believe if I did not have cameras to see them arrive, that the driver would have left without my review and approval of the shipment.

Second delivery on 12/18/24: did not receive any calls about when it was estimated to be delivered. I received a call as the driver was backing into the lot. I told him it would be at least 20-30 min before we arrived to be able to sign for the shipment. I also informed him that we have other contractors working there right now, and to ensure that the pallets were placed in an area not in their way. The driver decided he did not want to wait for the OWNER of the property and who the shipment was being DELIVERED TO, so he aggressively told the contractors working there that they needed to sign for the shipment, which they did, and the driver then tried to leave as we were arriving at the lot. In addition to the unacceptable delivery, the driver also ran over our concrete culvert and severely damaged it, as well as damaging brand new sod. The driver did this while backing into our lot upon arrival, likely noticed the damage, and did not bother to inform us of the damage. We will be filing a claim with R&L to recover the large cost for repairing the damages.

Overall, both deliveries were incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable.

Charlie walker is amazing. Went way above the call of duty to get my cabinets in the garage over rough terrain. They don't build them like this anymore. You better keep this guy.

I would like to acknowledge one of your team members. We are located in Tallahassee, Florida and we had a large shipment to be delivered. Dimitri, T+L driver not only helped out but corrected our mistake with our packing. It's been a long time since I have had great service from a delivery company. Kudos to T+L and Dimitri. Keep up the great customer service!

I have used the Tallahassee location for three years now. I’ve battled thru missing items, damaged items shipments not being on time, more times than them being right. I’ve never seen a group that has such a I don’t care attitude. Today after another shipment was wrong and missing I contacted Michael to express my total frustration his response was maybe you should find another shipper. As a business owner I can’t imagine telling a customer this but he’s just there for a check and truly doesn’t care about customers it’s extremely obvious. I will find another shipper Michael and truly hope you loose this job. Maybe then you will realize the importance of customer service. You lost a three year dedicated customer today. Way to go Michael.

Ordered a generator through Sam's Club and still have never received it. R&L will not return my call and the lady that a answers the phone is no help and very rude.
My company fills their propane tanks, what if my company just decided not to do our job and not return their phone calls.
A business needs to understand their client but if they continue not to care then they will eventually close their doors...and probably for the better.
This matter will be escalated.

Spoke to a very angry lady named Glenda that was already disgruntled when she answered the phone.
I explained how someone returned my generator back to Geogia. Glenda told me someone called 3 times on the 6th of July. Since they didn't hear back from me they returned my item.
Here is my issue...1st NO ONE CALLED, I don't even show a record of anyone calling other than my husband. 2nd who accepts a 220 lb shipment, holds onto it no more than a few hours then ships it back?!?
Does anyone understand time and expense? Who had to pay for R&Ls mistake 🤔.
Obviously not them or they would have gone about this much smarter...like maybe call a second day, verify the home number with the company before shipping the generator from Florida back to Georgia.
There are too many people that want or need jobs Glenda, if you are that unhappy retire and give someone else a shot.
Companies are having to close there doors and people are loosing there homes...try being nice and grateful...let's see were that gets you. 🙏

UPDATE
The manager of R&L still won't return our call. We had Sam's reorder the product a second time and we are still having issues. Going to try and contact someone above him.

2nd UPDATE
Husband was persistent and kept recalling Sam's Club and R&L. Got ahold of a lady named Maria that verified the number on file was Wrong. I even verified my phone number with Glenda and she straight out said that was the number was what she was showing....hummmm..not. Lies catch up to people.

I recently had a large item delivered to my house from Amazon via R+L Carriers. Everything went very smoothly and the semi driver went above and beyond to make things happen in the middle of a rainstorm. I'm ashamed to say I didn't catch the drivers name, but I wanted to say that I really appreciate his effort and positivity, as well as the logistics required to get my item here so quickly and professionally.

Deliveries to our store arrive in a timely fashion, undamaged and loaded into our warehouse using lift gate service. (Warehouse floor is not ground level or semi trailer height.) Any shipment we have going out is picked up same day that the call for pick up was made. Local Tallahassee employees are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in getting deliveries to us or in getting shipment out on time. Have received positive feedback from our customers regarding shipments they received from our store via R & L getting to them on time.
