He listened to all of my concerns, ensured that we addressed the issues in the safest and most effective manners, and truly helped me to get my life back from excruciating back and leg pain. I am a collegiate softball player, and I had been having problems with my lower back on a regular basis. Out of recommendation, I was directed to Dr. Mathis, and I would easily do the same to other people searching for great chiropractic service. Not only was physical exertion causing awful pain, but walking, sitting erect, and laying in bed were uncomfortable as well. Since visiting Dr. Mathis, I have felt as good as new and have yet to have another problem. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting his office because not only did I know that I was in good hands, but I knew that the atmosphere was quite friendly and conversation was always enjoyable. He is just an all around good guy who really wants to help his patients in any way he can.

Let me first say I was a COMPLETE skeptic about chiropractors. My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Mathis and I really nervous about coming to see him as I'd always heard chiropractors are "quacks" and "not real doctors". Let me tell you that Dr. Mathis is absolutely wonderful. I told me exactly what he would be doing, explained everything in easy to understand ways, and made sure I was comfortable with his methods. Most of all, he is a professional practitioner and knows what he's talking about!

I could barely walk before coming to see him and had tremendous lower back pain when moving from laying to sitting. Within an hour after my first treatment, I was walking normally with SIGNIFICANT pain reduction. If you are hesitant about chiropractors, come see Dr Mathis! He is a great person and is passionate about helping those with chronic pain. 5/5 stars -- will definitely continue to see him!

Dr. Mathis is simply the best. I've seen a dozen different chiropractors over the years and honestly, I consistently have the best experience with Dr. Mathis. He never 'over-adjusts' me the way other chiropractors sometimes do. He doesn't do the exact same adjustment with every visit, but rather specifically targets whatever problem I'm having at the time. He is also just generally a really great guy. Easy to talk with. I never feel uncomfortable with him and would recommend Dr. Mathis to anyone in need of chiropractic care. His rates are very reasonable. Best of all, he ALWAYS fixes my neck or back and I'm pain-free again in no time at all.

I developed what turned out to be a herniated disc nearly 4 years ago. After describing my symptoms over the phone, Dr. Mathis made time to see me right away even though his schedule was full that day, and ordered an MRI to confirm his diagnosis, which was spot-on. His treatments enabled me to avoid surgery and have helped me immensely. I always look forward to my visits with Dr. Mathis (how often can you say that about any doctor?) He is the most caring doctor of any kind I've ever had, and he will definitely listen to you. I highly recommend his services to anyone suffering with back or neck pain.

Was always skeptical of chiropractors but after visiting Dr. Mathis I was quickly put at ease. One of the best medical experiences I have had. He is very professional and takes his time to asses what is wrong. As for the bad review from 'gemini tally' go read the other review by them. It seems to me that they have an issue with doctors.

If you are on the fence go talk to Dr. Mathis and just get a feel for him. Great doctor and very knowledgeable.

I hurt my hip while training for a half marathon and went to Dr. Mathis. He provided excellent service and helped me recover quickly and I was back training in 3 weeks! He is very knowledgeable and an all around great doctor. I always have a great experience when I go into the office!

Few Doctors show as much concern and go the xtra mile as Dr Reed Mathis. I have a damaged right shoulder, the worse neck injury he's ever seen and lower back problems. He's adjustments are the only way I can make it thru the week.
