March 19, 25. What a fun local bar and grille. First it’s full of locals which is always a great sign when traveling. Part of 4, greeted promptly by our server who took our drink orders and put in mozzarella sticks for us that are made in house.
Chicken Fried Steak special, Cheese Crip, Cheese Burger with fries and Dinner Salad with Ceasar dressing. Everything was very very good and the fries are hand cut not frozen.
When we are in the area, we will stop again.

After four years of driving past Red Onion Bar and Grill, I finally had the opportunity to stop and try one of their burgers; and boy I am glad I finally did.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience so much so that I’m sitting in the parking lot writing this review.

Upon walking in, I was met with a sign that stated to seat myself. I then proceeded to the bar to which I was greeted by the bartender. She was extremely pleasant and immediately took my order. I proceeded to order a classic bacon cheeseburger with an upgrade for onion rings and a Pepsi.

Once my food arrived, I was immediately impressed with the portion size of both my onion rings and my bacon cheeseburger. Also, I was happy that they didn’t skimp on the bacon as some other places do.

Once I began consuming my meal, I was taken back with both the flavor of the burger, its juiciness and its bread to meat ratio being perfect.

My onion rings were perfectly breaded, hitting that sweet spot between crunchy and soft, and it was paired nicely with a healthy dose of ranch.

Lastly, the Pepsi was a perfect mixture of syrup and carbonated water, which I feel is an oversight at most establishments these days.

10/10. I am definitely going to make this a pitstop from here on out as I drive from Phoenix to New Mexico regularly.

If you’re passing through Heber don’t miss this gem. I stopped here on my way to Phoenix and did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and responsive. Checked on me frequently. I ordered the green chili burger, medium cooked, with cheddar cheese. The chili had the right amount of heat to it. Overall the burger hit the spot and really enjoyed my meal. Would highly recommend for others to come here.

Nice place. Great specials. Our servers have always been pleasant. Sports bar atmosphere and separate dining area. Salad bar sometimes. My food has always been very good. It gets a bit crowded at times, especially regular eating times. I think you'd enjoy it, if your a casual kind of sports bar person.

Ask for Karen as your waitress she made us feel welcome on top of that she is a great waitress. We only wait for a few minutes to be seated on a holiday week. My family and I ordered couple of pitchers of beer with chicken wings as our appetizer. The wings were perfect not too dry and the beers came with frosted ice cold glasses. Most of us order hamburgers and my wife order a chicken sandwich that she really liked. I oder the green Chile burger, it was too dry for my liking and the green chili tasted like it came from a can and the burger was dry and hard. My older kids like their hamburgers also enjoy the cold beers and appetizers. For sure we will stop here next time we come to Heber AZ.

The Red Onion Lounge has good reviews, so we decided to have lunch while visiting the rim. I was expecting it to be a tourist trap but was surprised to see what looked like a ton of locals eating there. The food itself was actually pretty good, we all had burgers and fries and my son had a cheese crisp. The service was friendly but it didn't seem overly busy and it took almost 45 minutes for burgers which is just too long, especially with a 2 year old. Regardless, I'd give it 4 stars if it wasn't for the price which is very high. 3 burgers and fries with a children's cheese crisp shouldn't cost $80+, this isn't Manhattan. If it was more reasonably priced, it would be an easy recommendation but just can't because of that.

Came here for my Son's 11th birthday dinner and they totally out did themselves! They went above and beyond to make it special for his birthday! The Monster Burgers were so juicy and good! My other son got a steak and I thought it was a little over priced until I saw the size of it! He is a Steak eating fool and usually can finish them but not this time! It was as big as the plate or even a little bigger, the baked potato and French fries were on top of it! It was that big! He said it was perfectly done and delicious! Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely return!

I’ve driven by this restaurant all my life when visiting family in the north and finally stopped in to try. The burgers are amazing and very filling! I ordered the monster burger with green chili and pepper jack cheese and oh my gosh delicious! The prices are good and for fries we ordered a 2 shared batch between 3 of us. The serving is very generous and we could have just done 1 as we took the other to go. Servers are very friendly and welcoming. It’s decorated with taxidermy animals which were interesting and some had…. Let’s say amusing positions 😂. Would definitely recommend stopping in
