(2/6/2025) I had to call the Assesors office when my elderly mother got a letter in the mail over an address issue. Brian and Hyme were able to help clarify the confusion and said the problem was fixed a few days ago. My mom can relax now and is really thankful to know it's all cleared up. Thank you Pima County Assessor's Office for being professional and understanding.

The people there were willing to help me and even helped me fill out the necessary forms. Nice to see a city employee go up and beyond...

My experiences have been horrible. They only give you 31 days to appeal, which is difficult for teachers in the spring. If you call, they put you on hold and then hang up on you. If you do manage to get the appeal in on the last day (in person drop off), they send you a letter saying you missed the deadline. It is a racket. They keep increasing the value of the house >10% each year, which is not permitted in some states. Just horrible customer service. They do not work for us, the taxpayer, but for themselves. Needless to say I will be paying closer attention to this portion of the ballot in the future.

Classed my primary/ residence as an investment property, my closing paperwork with my title agency that was submitted to them stated that it was to be used as primary residence. They just do what they want up at Pima county assessor’s ! Paper work be damned.

Today I drove across town to pay my property taxes. Upon entering your building, I placed my keys, wallet, glasses, pen, and checkbook into the security bin. As I started to go through the security gate I was told to take off my belt. I had purchased a TSA (non-metallic) belt specifically so I would not have to undress in public as it is embarrassing for me. I explained this to your security personnel but that did not matter. When I told them it was embarrassing for me, but they simply asked "Why?". I said, it just is. I took off my plastic belt then walked through the security gate. I was then told to stand arms-spread and then ‘wanded’ front and back. Then I was told to raise my pants legs to show my socks. TSA is not this ‘thorough’. It must have been quite entertaining for your security staff evidenced by their smiles and smirks. I guess they were bored (7 officers, really?).
Rest assured I have learned my lesson. I will never again enter your building. I'll just mail in my tax payment.
Mocking elderly veterans; what grand sport!
Shame on you.

The staff were professional, courteous and helpful. They even returned my call and responded to my email.. The directions downtown were challenging due to road construction and street closures.. Great job on behalf of staff helping me👍 The building is located by the main library.

My experience with the assessor's office has been nothing but great. Whenever I call with a question they pick up the phone and are always happy to help. My client is getting ready to sell his home. We noticed on the assessor website they did not have the correct square footage of the home. He contacted the office and Sonya Tran helped him. Within 2 days she reviewed documents and adjusted the square footage to the correct amount.
