The Mohave county treasurers office are some of the nicest people I have ever talked to regarding property taxes. My elderly parents were having issues and all the girls at the office were so kind and helpful. I want to give each and every one of them a hug for helping me and my parents with our property tax dilemma.

My mother (almost 70 years old) did not have a positive experience at this office previously, but I visited with another person in late-Jan 2022 and he was doing most of the talking. I can revisit my review after I have a completely independent experience as well and amend, if needed. On this day there was a very short wait, but the process still took a while because there were a number of corrections that had to be made to the forms being submitted by the gentleman I was accompanying. The staff member I observed was a polite young woman who referred to another staff member multiple times to verify procedures. The processing was completed with no issues and as of this week, I receive the confirmation by mail that the records were updated. I was quite satisfied with this visit.

Their website claims you can find information about a piece of property by entering A Name or address of the property. Nope! Misleading can't pull up any information unless you have a parcel number.They need to fix this or
Re word what they say.

I live out of state and recently inherited property in AZ, it's very difficult going back and forth trying to get everything situated. I had to call the assessors office to inquiry about some property rules and regulations etc and I got through right away and everyone that I have dealt with so far has been so kind and efficient. Definitely different than out here in CA 😀

The lady, who answered my questions about deeds and titles regarding vacant land ownership, was fairly patient and did not talk down to me even though my questions were obviously elementary questions from a neophyte landowner. However I think the office itself should have easy to understand stock answers for such questions as " What is the difference between a deed and a title" To a neophyte, if an explanation is not immediately clear then fear creeps in that he or she is in way over their head.

Spoke with a lady who I belive her name was Ada, and she was very rude. I asked a simple question that took a minute to respond but then she started questioning me and talking to me as if I was dumb, atleast she finished the conversating with " wish you good luck with that" and hung up.
