La Frontera Arizona Empact

I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic respect shown by La Frontera and its staff. A behavioral health facility should be a place of support, patience, and understanding, yet my experiences at this location have been anything but. I have encountered numerous issues with both the front desk staff and schedulers, who have repeatedly been dismissive, unhelpful, and, at times, outright rude. This is unacceptable for an organization that claims to support individuals seeking mental and behavioral health services. Instead of fostering a welcoming and compassionate environment, they seem to be doing the exact opposite. If you are considering seeking care at this location, proceed with caution. I sincerely hope your experience is better than mine and that of many others who have faced similar treatment. La Frontera, you need to do better. Your staff’s behavior is unacceptable, and your leadership must take responsibility for ensuring that patients are treated with the dignity and care they deserve. A facility like yours should be a safe haven for those in need—not another source of stress and frustration.

I come here for both my counseling and medprovider so far I really like this place the counselor I have is very personal with me helping me work on my problems I feel like she really does care about me and my Med provider is the same way very caring answering all of my questions making sure I'm doing well on my medication I haven't had this experience with other clinics so I'm very pleased with this Clinic I'm glad I found this place.

Severe Scheduling Issues. I'm penalized if I cancel an appt but the appt is useless because they can't do anything without the counseling services for 6 months. I've been trying call the case managers and Judith Garcia.... It's been 8 months of twice a week phone calls and they STILL haven't called to schedule a counseling appt for my kids.

I was lied to regarding the services they provide. I was VERY clear about what I was looking for when I made my initial appointment, and was assured that they definitely offer the desired service, only to be told at my intake appointment that they do NOT provide said service. No explanation as to why I was given blatantly false information, just a short "sorry you were misinformed", and that was it. So...watch out. They might lie to you, like they did to me.

I'm only giving 4 stars because with everything thing I have been through, the last few years. The office is wonderful. My counselor is a God send. The problem, I asked if they can acknowledge the cat I got last year as an emotional support animal. The supervisor informed that the agency's policy to only allow support dogs. What are they saying? They are saying, they don't care about you and what you need for emotional support. All they care about is the bottom line and not what clients/patients need to emotionally survive.
