We stayed 9 days in Site 57 which is a pull through and has a private patio with pavers, patio table, furniture, fire pit, and grill, along with privacy fences on each side, plus tall privacy shrubs. We were treated very well the entire time we were there. Park was very clean and very quiet. I need to give a huge shout out to the maintenance man Michael W. We had some issues with our rig and he was so helpful multiple days. He checked on us many times and really assisted us out of a bit of a jam we were in. So glad he is on staff because his attention to problem solving and brain storming solutions for our situation was really helpful. Bathrooms were cleaned and maintained. Office has a bit of everything and anything you could ask for from clothes to food to gifts and RV supplies. The site was long enough for our 40' RV and then there was enough room to park our toad right next to the RV and not block the patio. Highly recommend.

We booked with this KOA so we could go to the Petrified National Park the next morning.. we ended up not staying right after getting checked in due to the weather they were calling for, we didn't know it was going to be -2 by morning and we were in a camper.... So we decided to just keep driving our last 2 hours to get to Arizona. The lady that checked us in and were talking to about the weather was able to fully refund our money for our stay. Which was so nice of her because she could have said no..

We weren't there long but it looked like a really nice place to stay.. the cabins looked cute and cozy, the office had a store that had groceries, camping supplies, and souvenirs! Wasn't near any main highways so traffic noise wasn't going to be a problem with this location. We would certainly return again when the weather is better!

If you book this campground make sure to get the extra wide space if you have slide outs. Most slide outs are going to a tight fit in the regular space, they are smallest I have seen in a KOA. WIFI Is a joke, nonexistent and the staff is "grumpy" if you question them about it.

I always choose KOA for consistency of experience. Not this, truck on down the road.

Would give minus stars, if I could. Definitely would not recommend. Front desk staff member is discourtious and argumentative. I asked for clarification on the rate being charged as it was more than the advertised rate. Was told "We are independently owned. We can charge what we want." I have been a KOA member for more than 20 years, with VIP status. She was one of the rudest individuals that I have ever interacted with. I did ask for her managers information and she would not give it. |There is another park close by, I would suggest that to other travelers that absolutely have to stop in Holbrook. Or just keep driving on down the road.

Nice quiet location. We have stayed here a few times now. We always get a deluxe cabin. I highly recommend. My only complaint is housekeeping. Please, include a USABLE broom and a mop. And please look at the dishes in the cabinet between guests. Every time I come there, the dishes in the cabinet are dirty with food. I realize you put up a sign saying to do them upon check out but you should still check to see if it was done. I don't want to do dishes upon arrival while on vacation. But a mop would be amazing!
All in all, it's a great place. It's quiet, ppl leave you alone, feels safe. It's close to food, stores, downtown and to the painted desert and petrified forest. The playground is nice and well maintained. The grounds are always clean and the staff is friendly.

This place was amazing! We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was very clean. It had great heaters and 2 tvs! I would recommend bringing your own shampoo and body wash because the closest store was Safeway and they were $12-$16 each! Safeway had EVERYTHING you needed though. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

This RV park is easy to access from the interstate. Lots of space to walk your dog. Easy online reservation process. Basically a self service location with no amenities except for full hookups, dump station, dumpster, and nice spaces. The park is clean and quiet, even with the highway noise. We have a 40 ft. 5th wheel with a long wheelbase truck, and did not have to disconnect in order to fit our space.

Save your time/money and skip this one. Wanted to stay the night in my camper van, all I needed was some electricity to run my heater. Nobody there to help me, and because they purposely put the power poles on tent sites super far away from parking (first time I see this at a KOA) I couldn't plug in at one of them and would be forced to pay $60-80 for a pull through full hookup. I don't need water, sewer, cable...etc. It is also more than it is online, but of-course you can't reserve online for the same night after 4pm. Ridiculous.

I used to love KOA and stay at them all the time, but ready to call it quits now. They don't do anything to modernize, just raise their prices. Value is gone, service is gone, it's just not worth the time and constant disappointment. Showers are basic, wifi always sucks, your dog is limited to a tiny gross fenced in area, I've had to drag picnic tables to my site more times than not, and there is no nature to be seen. You get a crappy freeway-adjacent dusty dirt spot for the nearly the same price as a decent hotel room.
