Our family went on a two week vacation staying at different hotels and places along the way and this was BY FAR our favorite place! These cabins were unique and awesome!! Melissa, the host was so wonderful and really cared about her people having a good stay. Price was so reasonable and the cabins and beds were high quality and comfortable. The heater worked great! Thank you we will definitely be back!

Cabin 6 is haunted. Heaters kept turning on by themselves. Kept hearing noises in the bathroom like tapping or walking. Kept hearing banging in the outside walls. When the front room heater turned on right in front of me at 3 am I almost shot out the doors. Got my stuff packed and heard a bang on the window by the bed. The curtains flew up and my daughter started crying. Worst stay ever. Plus had a musty smell and carpet was disgusting.

The heaters don't turn themselves on and off. The first night they never kicked on and was snowing the whole time. I also lived in Pinetop for 5 years of my childhood so know how trees and squirrels and raccoons sound going on ur roof or building. I was hearing knocking on the ouside walls. Like somebody wanted to come in. Footsteps in the cabin aren't gonna be anything else. And ur right u don't have blinds just curtains. Small flimsy curtains which can be pulled up as well. Whatever smacked the window hit the center of he curtains and made the bottoms fly up. Maybe I made it sound worse the way I worded it the first time. But that u def can't explain. The place was def haunted. And whatever was in there didn't want us in there. U can call this a stupid post but I wish someone would have told me it was haunted before traumatizing my daughter on our first trip together

Nice little cabin for a romantic get away. The place was clean and the hot tub was nice although it could have been warmer. The area is beautiful nice little lake down the road. All in all great places to have a weekend getaway

This is a very cute place with several cabins. If you're bougie, don't stay here. For my husband and I and friends, we are not picky or bougie. We had the three twins and a queen cabin 11. The queen is in a bedroom with a door. The living area has twin bunk bed and more a single size mattress by the window, plus a futon. There is a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, pots and pans, utensils, etc. The cabin is very humble. It's small but serves its purpose. It only has wall units for heat, they're like radiant heat type of heaters. Surprisingly when down to teens in degrees outside, we still stayed warm enough with the wall heaters. Windows are single pane and one is cracked. There are a lot of blemishes and things throughout the cabin walls and such. The shower head is removable but when in the holder, it aims pretty high without being able to move it except to the side wall. Okay for tall people haha. The shower liner is much too short to actually stop shower water from making a mess, so we had to put the actual shower curtain inside the shower pan to prevent water messes. The biggest complaint is that there are so few outlets. Pretty much one outlet per room. And the one in the bedroom is at the foot of the bed and up high on the wall. We had to ask for an extension cord from the host, which thankfully she had, so my husband could use his CPAP. There's a power strip by the TV luckily so that helped. We were pleasantly surprised to have a Christmas tree (fake) in our cabin! It's also very cute that they have a DVD player and lots of DVDs, games, etc if you bring kids. Parking space is limited, especially if you have a large vehicle. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. There are a lot of small things that aren't great but if you aren't that picky, it's a nice reasonable price stay with nice amenities having the kitchenette and everything. Also, it's a great location right between Pinetop-Lakeside and Show Low. Oh and the yard has horse shoes, swings and a see saw, a fire pit and chairs, grill, etc. We would stay again.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the Hidden Rest Cabins. The cabin was very clean and the bed was comfortable, cabins are equipped with everything you need; the only thing that was missing was the wifi (but ultimately it was good to escape the busy life). In addition, it is in a convenient location with a close proximity to the restaurants/ hiking trails. The check in and check out were extremely easy. We will come again!

We stayed in Cabin 8. It was adorable and amazing! We loved having the hot tub right in the living room. The location is great. Highly recommend
