Great place to stay in Cripple Creek. The room was priced reasonably, it was clean, and the vibe of the hotel was good. The only issues I had were that it took a half an hour to check in. It wasn't the staffs fault either. It was that there was only one person working the desk. They were back up on phone calls for 15 minutes. I give her credit, she handled the pressure like a professional. Other than that, it would be nice if they had an ice machine on every floor and some more food options. We did eat at the Saltgrass Steak house in the casino, which was great. We did visit the pool at the sister hotel up the street, which was nice. At the end of the day, this is a good choice to stay in Cripple Creek. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Used to be our favorite place to gamble. When it changed hands got worse not better. Took so many of our favorite machines out. Half the time the restaurants are either closed a long wait for the Salt grass. Not as fun engaging employees. Wednesday was a graveyard and employees seemed unhappy. The waitress for drinks was great though. Bad juju only stayed an hour.

We had a reservation at the main hotel ( reviews for sister property are horrible) for three nights. I have never stayed in a hotel with that thin of walls. You HEAR everything in both rooms on the sides, and above and below. Second night we were there, there was a party next door. Finally around 5 in the morning the police were called. My adult son and I needed two beds. The room was tiny. Not even room for a chair. No ice maker on our floor. Not enough plug-ins by the beds. Beds were not very comfortable. On the day of the last night we were to be there, Cripple Creek was going to get hit with extreme high winds and possibly a foot of snow. The locals told us if we didn’t get out of town before it hits, we would be stuck in town for probably two more nights. We had to leave. We packed up and asked the front desk person if we could get credit for the last night. That person said they couldn’t do it, but would leave a message for the manager. Never heard from the manager. Called twice after that on different days. Manager “ in a meeting”. Never called me back. Needless to say, when we’re coming to Cripple Creek for business, casino, and hotel, we won’t be staying here again.

There was only one kind employee who checked us in on first day, but overall this hotel lacked transparency and effective communication between co-workers and guests checking into rooms. We were charged twice and took 3 days for refund to come back to my card for 2nd charge. Then after asking us to choose floor level they denied our choice. Why ask the?! Extremely rude service by most of the employees. Then I was charged $100 without a real reason and it took 4 days to refund to my card after calling customer service. Worst Casino Hotel experience ever.

This place is a rip off. My husband and I lost over $10,000 here in June of 2024. We were about to leave town and go home when they offered to comp us for 2 more nights. After getting back to Vegas, I notice my card was charged $350 for the 2 nights. Upon calling I was told "We will take care of you on your next visit". Fast forward to May of 2025, we are visiting Colorado Springs and decide to stop by to redeem our comp. We get here, after driving through a blizzard,just to be told by Nate, the w evening manager, that he doesnt care, he will only comp based on today's play. This is after the nice young lady at the hotel desk told us to go ask him because "people have been getting comps last 2 nights due to the roads being so bad". So here we are, sleeping in our freezing car at 330am in a blizzard. We wouldn't have driven down here had we not been owed the comps in the first place! I will NEVER do business here again these guys have ZERO care for their customers and cannot uphold their promises. After losing THOUSANDS they continue to cost me money. Like they just want to bleed every drop they can out of us and leave us stranded in the cold. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE THERE ARE PLENTY OTHER GORGEOUS LITTLE CASINOS IN THIS TOWN THAT HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPASSION FOR THEIR GUESTS!

The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Room was spotless, linens clean and comfortable. The towels were thick and comfortable, and the water pressure was nice. Property is a little dated but well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

Gena at front desk has the best customer service I’ve experienced in the hotel. The other agents could learn a thing or two from Gena. Over at saltgrass as well cause the service there is always dry but they do have a really good burger. Rooms always clean and peaceful.
