Dr. Tupps is great. His staff, however, is a nightmare. Tasha is as disrespectful and rude as it gets. I was unable to get anyone in the office to call me about a contact lens issue for 7 weeks, until I just called every day. Once I got ahold of her, she argued, lied about calling me, and refused to listen or have the Dr. call me. I have been a patient there for 25 years. My husband and daughter also. No more!!!

I have been going to Accuvision since before Dr Tupps took over the practice. I have since moved to Tampa, got married, had children, kids have moved out…. My wife and kids all like Dr Tupps. Appreciate his knowledge and his careful attention to detail, we all prefer Dr Tupps.

Excellent optometrist! Very professional, timely and caring. A true health care provider. My wife went in with an emergency situation & Dr Douglas welcomed her with open arms. She is not a patient of
Accu Vision as we live in Tampa not in the Dunedin area. However, my wife woke up with a burning red irritated eye from a previous day at the beach. We weren’t sure what was going on but she was in pain and needed it addressed immediately. We look up local optometrist to see if someone could take a look and see what was going on. But our first stop was Clarkson Eyecare . They were unprofessional, didn’t care and told us they were about to take lunch . Avoid them at all cost. We luckily found Accu Vision near by & thank god we did. They addressed her issue immediately, found the problem & fixed it within an hour. I highly recommend them if you live in Clearwater or Dunedin.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Tupps. He and his staff are so friendly and so helpful. Everyone there, including Dr. Tupps himself, made me feel like I was the only patient they were seeing today. They all took their time and explained everything and answered all my questions. I'd been hesitant to have an eye exam due to COVID, but they are taking every possible precaution to make it safe for the patients and the staff. I've definitely found my new eye care home.

Staff is fairly rude and rather incompetant. They seem to be training someone that can't use the computer each time I go. I wear a neck brace and they told me to stand there for 20 mins to check in because she was messing up, zero empathy. Then their machine was broke I needed and they lied about it over the phone. The wait time to see a doctor is 1-2 hours which is unheard of. The office is old and dirty. Then they asked I come back because the machine was broken. I was desperate for the test so I did. They ran it wrong, I waited another 1.5 hours, and was so mad I left. Now 4 hours of my time wasted. They also refused to send me my records from first visit. Appallingly bad as a whole. Bad enough I'll make a complaint to the board.

AccuVision Optical is highly recommended by me, I have been going there for at least 10 years. Probably one of the best doctors I’ve had. He spends plenty of time, has a lot of patience, and seems to be super knowledgeable and on top of anything new in the optical world. I wear contacts and glasses and also have a condition with my eyes that make it a little more difficult to work with getting my vision accurate. I appreciate all the time that he spends to get my prescription right. This doctor is a doctor that really cares. The whole staff is super friendly, I just can’t say anything better about all of these guys. Very professional, super clean and very comfortable atmosphere.

Very nice staff and doctor was very nice and he took his time with me. The prices are great for those who can’t afford to spend much on a new pair of glasses. I highly recommend this place for an eye exam!
